What age can my dog start attending classes at K9 Inspired?
Puppies can start attending our Puppy Classes from as early as 10 weeks old, provided they have had their first set of vaccinations. For our Basic Obedience Training and other specialised courses, dogs of all ages are welcome.
Are the training methods used at K9 Inspired safe and humane
Absolutely. We use only positive reinforcement and relationship building techniques, which involve rewarding desired behaviours with treats, praise, support or play. This method is not only humane but also effective in promoting long-term behavioural change.
How many walks do your daycare dogs get in day day care?
Regardless of weather conditions your dog will always get a morning and afternoon session of sniffs and adventures in our private 10 acres. We do not spend all our day indoors, times and amounts will vary with each individual dogs needs taken into account by our qualified experienced staff
What qualifications do your staff / trainers have?
All our staff & trainers are certified with extensive training in animal behaviour and training and attend regular courses to keep up to date and expand their skills and knowledge
Can I Subscribe or purchase a membership for your dog walking field?
Yes, you will be able to purchase an ongoing monthly subscription that will offer you discounted rates for a specified number of monthly visits bookable online for your convenience.
What do I need to bring to doggy daycare or training classes?
For Daycare, bring your dogs food if still lunchtime feeding, any medications with instructions and a favourite blanket if you'd like to. For training classes, bring high value treats, a training collar or harness, a non-retractable lead, any specific course requirements. Please ensure your dog is wearing a current up to date ID tag and any legal requirements such as muzzles .
